This drive is easy to install, easy to use, extremely fast and works as expected. I'd highly recommend the drive. My only complaint would be that if you think you can just install this drive in your current system and then be able to play Blu-ray movies you could be mistaken. Your video card and monitor must both be HDCP compliant among some other criteria. When you buy this drive and install the software one of the programs will be the "BD Advisor" which will check your system for compatibility across several criteria. Mine failed with the monitor. I could envision Adam Sandler screaming, "Information I could have used YESTERDAY!" So now I need a new monitor also when I didn't think I needed one. Do yourself a favor, download the BD Advisor program from the site below and check your configuration out entirely before you buy the drive. Nice to know beforehand what the upgrade will really cost you.

This Samsung Blu Ray Player / CD /DVD burner with Lightscribe is a very good drive.
Easy to install and easy to use.
I note another review that the box is supposed to include SATA cables and screws.
In my case they were not needed because I used the existing SATA cable and carrier.
The drive is great but be aware that you will need to purchase software
to view Blu Ray movies, the included software only plays DVD movies.
It includes the usual CD / DVD software for burning and playing.
The 12x BD read speed is nuch better than most drives and the blu ray movies play very smoothly.
Most of the other drives on Amazon are 8x or 10x

This drive works great with my ABIT IP35 Pro motherboard, even with the RAID/AHCI SATA controller which is known to be picky about optical drive compatibility. For those like me who are worried about lighting up the bedroom at night - the blue LED is only on during disc access. That wasn't clear from the pictures on the box. The front panel is very nice, and this is one FAST drive!
